Yilin Ye’s Personal Website

I’m Yilin Ye, a PhD student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I’m supervised by Prof. Wei Zeng and co-supervised by Prof. Kang Zhang. Before coming to HKUST (GZ), I got my Bachelor’s degree from SUN Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, with a BA in Foreign Language and a BSc in Mathematics.

Research Interest and Vision

Currently, I’m interested in research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Human Computer Interaction and Art. Particularly, I seek to reflect on the challenges and opportunities for artists and other users in the age of AIGC. Supported by visualization and information retrieval technology, my research seeks to provide a channel for human to interact with and make sense of art, design and AIGC data.
